Many people ask me what the benefits are of an AceLift over a facelift. From my experience, I’ve learned that an AceLift addresses the actual quality of the skin, not just the quantity or amount of skin that is treated. An AceLift deals with sun damage and stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. With an AceLift, there is no general anesthesia or IV sedation as there is with a facelift. An AceLift can also be customized to deal with aging around the eyes, mouth and face, and neck, whereas a facelift is limited to the lower portion of the face and jowls only. Only about a week of downtime is required. Who’s an ideal candidate? Someone who does not want surgery, does not want long recovery or downtime, has photodamage, sunspots and/or wrinkles.
